Policies
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
-
Items accepted for resale will be on consignment for 60 days with the exception of: holiday items, end-of-season consignment, and specialty items (for example: riding, New England sports gear, dance/gymnastics, cleats, and other sporting gear). After 60 days, any unsold items will be marked as “expired” and consigners will have a one week grace period to pick up unsold items. After that, any remaining items transfer to store ownership or will be donated.
-
Donations go primarily to Project Just Because. At times, Fiddle & Find also donates to The Herd or other local charities.
-
Once an item is sold, the consignor will receive 40% of the selling price for items priced at $10 and above, and 30% for items priced below $10. For items priced over $100, the consignor will receive 50% of the selling price.
-
Fiddle & Find will determine pricing. Periodic markdowns will occur at the discretion of management. For special sales, (such as our semi-annual Fill-a-Bag event) this may result in a small balance adjustment in the consignor’s account.
-
If we accept an item and later find that we missed an imperfection, Fiddle & Find will mark the item as damaged and then donate or recycle it. If items require excessive cleaning or lint removal, a small fee may be deducted from your consignor account.
-
Consignor payouts are available upon request and can be issued by check, Venmo, or direct deposit from consignor accounts. Balances can be used at any time in-store for 10% discount, otherwise you may request a payout at any time. Accounts that are inactive for one year (no purchases made or payouts requested) will be converted to store credit only.
First-time consignors are required to sign a consignor contract either ahead of time or in-store with first consignment. Please download and read our Consignor Contract for more details.
